Maybe there is something that was said or not said that has caused him to be cautious. I certainly would be. There is a lot of negativity coming from the person he wishes not to deal with. His choice.

After seeing everyone interpret the original question as "rude" - I had to reread it and then it hit me like a brick - it could be interpreted as rude since it was kurt, pointed and to the point and lacked tact....

"Why didn't you schedule interview back in early to mid September?"

I think he was thinking the same thing I was thinking (sort of) - which I was about to ask but then saw all this dialogue... LOL

I was looking at Ben's timeline - and noticed Zian's POE was today (CONGRATULATIONS!) :dancing:

15 August 2014 : Met Online

10 December 2014 : His tourist visa request denied(J1 home residency time line not met yet)

24 June 2015 : Flew to meet him in Manila for 9 days

30 June 2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

08 July 2016 : NOA 1 Received

25 August 2016 : NOA 2 Received (48 days) :dancing:

02 September 2016 : NVC Received Petition

13 September 2016 : NVC Case Number Received

23 September 2016: NBI Clearance Obtained

26 September 2016 : Embassy receives petition

28 September 2016 : CENOMAR Obtained

24 October 2016 : Medical Completed

07 November 2016 : CFO Completed

08 November 2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

18 November 2016 : Visa in hand

23 November 2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

Since I just received NOA2 - or the SMS message at least - I was wondering at what stage/timeframe I will be helping her fill out the DS-160, scheduling the medical, how many days out between the medical and the interview, etc... etc....

I noticed Ben/Zians interview was Nov 8 and I was wondering if this was the soonest available - if so - when did he actually complete the scheduling online for the interview? Did he schedule the interview the day after NOA2 email? Physcially receive NOA2 in the mail?

I SUSPECT that MarkPerry was thinking the same thing but instead of asking questions to paint the scenario - he just barfed out 6 or 7 words which came across as moody and rude. LOL - I think thats how it came out.

The question - "Why didn't you schedule the interview back in early to mid September?" - was asked because we that have traveled this path know there is no need to wait for any letter from USEM, that once the MNL# is received it is ROCK n ROLL time!!

All the fun starts when you receive the MNL # from NVC after the petition is approved at USCIS and the case file is then forwards to NVC.

Once you have that magical MNL number everything can move quite quickly.
