How far in advance can you schedule an interview?

My K-1 Petition is already at the embassy and I'm able to complete the DS-160 and book my medical whenever I want. I won't be able to move to the US until June, however, and I'm planning a short trip there in April so I don't want to have my interview until after that. Can anyone tell me how far in advance you can schedule the interview? My NOA2 expires in February so I'd ideally like to do the medical and schedule my interview in January sometime but I'm not sure if I'll be able to select a date in April that far in advance.

Also, I contacted the embassy about extending the validity of the petition, explaining to them my situation as above. They replied with this:

"Upon your return to the United Kingdom, and once all of the required steps have been completed, you may schedule your visa interview. Your fiancé will be required to furnish a letter confirming their intention to marry you within 90 days of your arrival in the United States, which you must furnish on the day of your interview."

I'm assuming this means I can safely leave the DS-160 and medical until after it expires? I was hoping they would be a bit less vague and maybe give me a new validity date or something.

Thanks for your help.

I belive as long as it is schedueled prior to expiration. Even if interview is out of the four month validity you are ok.

But someone will confirm.

So if you scheduele in january for April sb ok....

Take into account medical expires so if you want to travel in june have your medical closer to the interview date.

Six months from medical the k1 visa in passport expires.

Note that after 4 months, you will need to bring a renewed letter of intent to marry from your fiancé/e. But other than that all you have to do is schedule an interview and then keep rescheduling for further out. At least, that's what some others did.
