Medical Examination Questionnaire - Mental Health

Hi All,

Looking for some advice here. I was just going through the medical questionnaire and it asks if you have ever had any mental disorder or depression. I was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder as a child and received a short treatment for it. As it was many years ago. Do I need to provide any documentation of this? Do I need to get my GP to write a letter about it? I assume I have to tick yes?

Yes. At any time, be honest during your medical when they ask such things. If they bring up mental health, always answer if you got treated etc. And also a yes for supporting documents that you can hand over immediately during the medical so your case doesn't get delayed because the panel physician wants to see proof of your medication/diagnose and a letter from the GP.

I mentioned I was treated for TB 21 years ago during my medical (didn't know I needed supporting documents like when I was treated, where, dose of medication etc) when he asked if I was ever treated for a disease which almost caused a delay in my visa process but I got the papers in time, for example.
