Administrative Processing Timeline for Approved Interviews

Hey everyone,

I had my interview Wednesday, when I got home Wednesday night, I checked my status and it has been updated that day but still said "Ready", yesterday morning it switched to "Administrative Processing" and hasn't changed since.

Im stressing as I am going on a Mission trip to the Dominican November 14th and hoping and praying I receive it back by then, but I've heard horror stories of people visas being stuck in AP status.

I realize I shouldn't have booked flights, but this has been planned for about a year. I can't change it as I'm traveling with a group of people.

So I'm just wondering, did yours go into AP after your interview in Montreal? If so, how long was it in AP before it changed to "Issued"?

Side note: there were absolutely no issues with out petition or anything, neither of are previously married, adopted, anything like that. We are both 100% born citizens of our countries.

I had tons of evidence, the officer even commented on how well prepared I was.

What will my options be? Can I request my passport back if it enters into the week after next being in AP?

Husband was in ap for 2 weeks, we needed to summit documents do it took longer. We're waiting for him to deliver his visa now.
