Became permanent resident in 2007 and had conditions removed (received 2nd green card) Now I'm being asked to file I-751 AGAIN. How is this even possible? Received request 10/04 and have to submit I-751 plus fees by 11/03.

Is there any channel I can resort to resolve this? There are no appointments available at my local offices until the end on the month. What do I do???

Ok so I became a permanent resident through my fathers application on 7/25/07 and received my first green card despite some issues with my father and I being confused by uscis (we have the same name). The first green card says: resident since 7/11/08. Card expires 7/11/10.

My dad then submitted our I-751 and his conditions were removed on 11/16/2009. Mine were as well because I received my second green card which says: resident since 7/25/07. Card expires 11/24/19.

Fast forward a few years and I submit my n-400, do biometrics, do interview and pass exam, and now I get a letter saying I need to resubmit I-751 because according to them my adjustment occurred more than 90 days after my father's conditions on his permanent resident status were removed. "Hence I cannot ride on the principal I-751."

How does this make any sense? I scheduled an info pass appt but it's not my local field office so I'm not sure they can even help. I don't know how to proceed from here.
