More questions.

I have a SSN from years ago when I worked here on a J1 and H2B visa. I got married on the 17th March and am just wondering before I apply for my AOS do I need to get my SS name changed to my married one?

My last question for this session right now, coz I'm sure there will plenty more posts :)

Is this, Do I fall under the (a)(6) catergory or the ©(9). I am filing my AOS from a K1 fiance petition, this is a first time application. My 90 days is up on the 17th April?

When you have filed for AOS then they may change your name on the SSN (issue a new card with the married name) - we tried after marriage and showing them the NOA, they said it will be a long time but they accepted the application and we received the card in about 10 or 12weeks. The problem with that is - the card still says - needs DHS authorisation however, we don't need to worry about it since she has the green card, maybe one day, we will go back and get another ssn card (without the DHS wording). Good Luck

Shredded all immigration papers Have scanned images
