Hi guys, is it true that AOS must be notarized as part of the requirements for interview for k1 visa Phil? Do we need to submit the original copy too?

We didn't include those stuffs in our packet in filing k1 that's why we have to secure just in case I'll be ask during my interview.

I've read some thread but it's unclear since some said that no need.

Thanks a lot.

No, per USCIS instructions for completing the form, Form I-134 is signed under penalty of perjury and therefore it does not need to be notarized.

Original copy with original signature should be submitted.

Having said that, USEM has not been requesting completed affidavits of support during interview process for some time now. Of course it is still on the list of required documents, so best to be prepared just in case.

They didn't ask my fiancé for hers at her interview on 8/24.
