N400 Application Questions

Just started filling out my N400 and came across a few things that i am having trouble answering. Any clarity or past experiences any one can provide would be very helpful. I was denied entry at the POE in Niagra Falls back in '08 when applying for a new TN visa under different employer. The reason the officer gave me was that i had no ties to Canada which made me inadmissible. Consequently, I had my employer file for an H1B and came back a few months later. The N400 has the following questions that i cannot figure out how to answer due to the situation i mentioned:

Part 12:

Q 23: Have you EVER been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer (including any immigration official or any official of the U.S. armed forces) for any reason? Was taken into secondary inspection where i was denied entry into the US.

Q 33: Have you EVER been removed, excluded, or deported from the United States?

Q 34: Have you EVER been ordered removed, excluded, or deported from the United States?

Thanks everyone in advance.
