Hi Tashalan, If I may ask, how long did you have to wait for your K1 Visa? The total processing time perhaps? Thanks

The application was sent at the end of March, it would have been sooner if my lawyer had done his job properly, in all he cost me 6 weeks for one reason or another.  An expensive mistake to use him both in time and money but due to the denial we didn't want to take any chances, with hindsight we would have been fine without him and would have got things through a lot faster.  Visa was issued Sep 12th, I collected it from the courier airport office the next day and flew out that morning.    My timeline details the whole process. Throughout  I found this forum invaluable for information and gauging a real timeline.

Hey thanks for sharing your story. May I ask what you mean by your b2 being cancelled due to denial?

I used to travel on a B2 visa as sometimes would stay for longer than 3 months.  When I was denied entry they also cancelled my B2 visa.
