Jerusalem Consulate Phone policy

My fiance will be having an interview on September,21 at Jerusalem Consulate, Israel. I know that usually phones are not allowed to take with you. Maybe somebody knows if there is any place where one can leave their phone while in interview? My fiance is getting their by bicycle, and will not have any safe place to leave it. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

The security team at the Jerusalem consulate will expect you to have a phone with you, and you check it into a locker/cubby when you go through security. This applies to pretty much anything you are carrying with you, except your paperwork.
