Other thing...it is better you and ur husband go to the interview ...My husband and I already planned that..because If you go alone ..they can make up some excuse or paper missing...So I warn you to go with him...It is better and They see that He cares about and it is a true marriage. I know sometimes It is complicated because his or ur job..Because if He really wants to get you there as soon is posible...He needs to go with you...

My husband and I did the K-3 process through Peru. Packet 3/4 is delivered to the beneficiary shortly after the NVC sends your application to the Embassy in Lima. The USC will also receive a copy of Packet 3/4, but it is primarily for reference. The instructions in the Packet are very clear, so the beneficiary needs to follow them precisely. If there are any questions or confusion, it's best to call the Embassy for clarification.

Althought it's recommended that the USC attend the interview, the visa can be approved with just the beneficiary in attendance. I joined my husband at the interview and we both were asked questions by 3 different people. They were standard questions - How did you meet? Where was your wedding? Why did you choose each other? etc.

Be sure to take plenty of photos. And definitely have all your paperwork complete and organized.

The people at the Embassy in Lima were polite and helpful when we were there. There is usually a long wait time, so prepare for that as well.

Overall, it wasn't that bad
