Hi all,

I need anyone knowledgeable or with insight especially those who have personally been in this situation to help out.

My wife and I got married in the summer of 2013, I got my green card last year July. Unfortunately, out marriage which we both tried to save ended in divorce. I know I must file for removal with a waiver. I'm having challenges answering question 21 in part 1. Will my answer be yes or no. Or should I write N/A. Also, do I have to fill part 4 (information about us citizen spouse). It says spouse or former spouse. It's quite confusing.

Does my ex spouse letter of support do any good to my case?

Thanks

Hi all,

I need anyone knowledgeable or with insight especially those who have personally been in this situation to help out. I think you meant the I-751 form, not I-761. Am I correct?

My wife and I got married in the summer of 2013, I got my green card last year July. Unfortunately, out marriage which we both tried to save ended in divorce. I know I must file for removal with a waiver. I'm having challenges answering question 21 in part 1. This question only applies to you IF you are married. I am assuming you are divorced and not yet remarried. You are OK to leave this question blank since it is the question itself that does not apply to you (as opposed to the answers not applying to you - in that case, N/A is what you would write). Will my answer be yes or no. Or should I write N/A. Also, do I have to fill part 4 (information about us citizen spouse). It says spouse or former spouse. It's quite confusing. She would be your former spouse - the US citizen who was "tied" to your conditional residency.

Does my ex spouse letter of support do any good to my case? It may! Most people come here because there exes are uncooperative. It would be lovely to see the opposite!. Good luck! :)

Thanks
