Hi all,

when we filed for I-129F, i followed the date of birth in my passport which is Sep 2nd. it got approved. then when i was getting my documents ready, i couldn't find my birth certificate. Went to get a replacement and i got it and found out that DOB is Aug 21st.

By the time i contacted NVC they said it had left. so i emailed the embassy they said they don't have my case even tho i explained my situation. i emailed again when they received it no reply.

So, in my DS-160 i put in my correct DOB Aug 21. and i got a new passport according to my Birth certificate.

i was approved for the interview and today when i got my passport i found out that the printed DOB is Sep 2nd. What Should i do ? the embassy doesn't take phone calls and they don't reply to emails often.

Should I send in my passport with the entire sealed envelope or just my passport with Birth certificate ?

i'm super stressed out now. :crying:

Thanks

So you got your passport back and on the visa your printed DOB is Sep 2, which doesn't match your passport or birth certificate, correct?
I'm not sure what you can do about that but DO try contacting them.

The American Embassy in Saudi would like you to think that the Immigration Visa Unit cannot be contacted by phone, but they can. As like anyplace else in the Gulf you must be forceful. I (the USC) called and chose the US citizen emergency line. I called during the hours that the Immigrant Visa Unit would be at work and I demanded to speak with them. And it worked most of the time. Even if they tell you no don't accept that for an answer and continue telling them your situation is urgent and you must speak with them.

Give it a try.

Yes that is correct. I did mail it back with a letter, DS-160 and Birth certificate. I have emailed them today (Weekend) and I will try to reach them tomorrow by phone.

Thank you
