Taxes or fees leaving phillippines?

Hello there again.

CFO will be done the 5th (Philippines time). I could had sworn I read on this site that there was a tax or fee when exiting. I know there is a normal tax that everyone pays when leaving at the airport (at least in cebu). Is there something additional? Where is it paid? I saw something about on the airline ticket but I dont know what to look for? We are flying Korean airlines

Depends where you bought your ticket. Check the ticket on the price breakdown section and see if an amount of Php 1620 has been included. That is the travel tax.

I am a frequent flyer of Korean Airlines. Tickets booked via orbitz/marriott rewards/any third party doesnt include the travel tax yet.

Tickets booked directly from the website using PH settings will already include travel tax.

And Cebu, you will have to pay 750php terminal fee.

The 1620 pesos is for Filipinos leaving the Philippines. Also, foreigners who have been in the Philippines for 6 months or longer also have an exit fee, but I don't know how much the foreigner exit fee is.

I don't see how an international airline could accurately assess the exit/travel TAX which only most but not all Philippine citizens have to pay.

The terminal FEE on the other hand can and is now added to tickets departing from NAIA.
