I am starting the application for the k1 visa. I am nervous about the 134 form though. I have just graduated nursing school so my income was very low last year. I will be starting a nursing job in 2 weeks though. It will be making well over the poverty amount. My tax return last year was very low though. Does anyone else have an experience with this or have any tips?

If you were over the approved income limit you should be OK, you can always get a temporary economic sponsor and also supply your current pay stub and information. Maybe someone else has a more definitive answer. Congratulations on finishing school, my personal opinion is that if you are currently making good money you should be ok, with a letter from your employer i.e. HR. Good Luck.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

All you need for a London interview is proof of your current income. The I-134 is not submitted until the interview. So by the time of the interview, you will be in the new job and can get an employment/salary verification from your employer. You will also have some pay stubs for backup proof of your employment/income. I wouldn't even provide a tax return that doesn't show enough income. London does NOT require it with the I-134. I am positive of that.

The I134 is not submitted with the I129? Wow so confusing. I was thinking I would have to wait to send in the application for a few months until I had a few pays tubs.

No, it goes to the interview with your fiancé.

The first part (petition) is just making sure you are eligible to bring a fiancé to the US...i.e. you are a US citizen, you have met in person, you are both free to marry as in single, divorced, or widowed.

The actual visa application happens during the London part where your fiancé completes forms, shows he passed medical requirements and criminal checks, has a financial sponsor, and goes to an interview.
