K1 applying for AOS - missing vaccine on DS-3025

I had my medical exam in the UK, and I wasn't sure at the time whether I'd had my second tetanus booster. I thought I had, but I needed to wait to contact my doctor to find out. I'm now in the US and married (ie ready to apply for AOS), but I haven't been able to get the tetanus vaccine confirmation from my doctor.

What is the quickest and most cost-effective way to sort this out? Will I have to contact a civil surgeon and have them conduct a full exam + booster vaccine and get an I-693? Is there a way to just get the vaccine without any extras, and update the DS-3025?

The DS-3025 I have just has "K1" written instead of a date under the "Vaccine Given At Panel Site" field for the tetanus vaccine.

Any help would be amazing, thanks!

There is a pinned thread at the top of this forum discussing vaccinations and forms in more detail.

Specific info for you--

Once you leave Knightsbridge clinic and they send your medical file to the London embassy, there is no updating the DS-3025. So if it does not document all the required shots, your only option is to have a civil surgeon document them on an I-693.

A K1 is not required to complete a new medical exam. Pull up the I-693 instructions and read it there in detail. But many civil surgeons will tell you they only do vaccination forms when they also do a full exam. You may have to make many calls asking prices and details before choosing a civil surgeon who will meet your needs.
