Hello everyone,

I've sent two emails to IVCasablanca@state.gov and all I got was an immediate automated response, no reply from an actual person.

Do they receive those emails? or should I do something else? I'm confused.

It's been two weeks since my first email, still no reply.

i received actual answers from this embassy

Are you in AP?

If so, they probably have no answer yet

Are you the US citizen?

As they do not respond to the beneficary as fast

it takes MULTIPLE emails to get a reply. I have experienced the same problem even before I had my interview. Here is the emails that I have for them:

IVCasablanca@state.gov

acscasablanca@state.gov

I literally send 2 emails a day (only because there is a 9 hour time difference) to try to get any response. Even with that, depending on how busy it is there or if its a holiday, it will take days to hear back.

Keep emailing!

No, I'm not on AP, my case is still ready.

And no, I'm the beneficiary.

I just need to ask them about my interview date, because they scheduled on me on a national holiday. I'm so confused about it.

You'll likely be fine. They're expecting eid to be on the 11th or 12th. If it ends up being on the 13th, the consulate will contact you to inform you of your new interview date.

The consulate only seems to respond to emails sporadically. I think if they don't think you're inquiring about an urgent matter, and one they are willing to help you out with, they won't always answer. Sometimes you have to practically spam them with a lot of emails. My guess is they haven't answered you because of what I said in my first few sentences above.

My Convoluted Story (see my profile for more details)

Mar 2010 - Visited Morocco for the first time, got engaged
Dec 30, 2011 - Wedding in Morocco (5th visit)

31 Dec 2012 - NOA2
27Jul 2013 - Broke up/Separation (while waiting for case complete at NVC)
9 Jan 2014 - Filed for divorce in US (never completed)
4 Apr 2014 - USCIS NOIR
May 2015 - Reconciliation
Nov 2015 - Vacation together in Spain (7th in-person visit with each other)
I-130/IR-1 (second time around)
4 Feb 2016 - Priority Date
19 Apr 2016 - NOA2

17 May 2016 - NVC Case Number Assigned

31 May 2016 - Sent AOS/IV package to NVC

5 Jul 2016 - NVC Case Complete

Hello? Anybody? Please I need some help!

Hi! Our file got to Morocco on 8/4. The first email didn't get a response so I kept emailing. Finally they scheduled the interview. We had a question and so my fiance called the Embassy in Rabat because it has humans answer the phone that are helpful. You might give that a try.

Good luck!

Actually it is already confirmed that the eid will be either on the 12th or the 13th. Since the consulate closes for two days, on the 13th they will be 100% closed.

I'll keep trying see what happens

Thank you :)

Didn't know that was possible. I will call them.
