My fiancée is filling out the DS-160. We received our new case number from NVC and she is now working on filling out the DS-160 and scheduling her interview. However, she has gotten to the point where they are asking her to pay the VISA fee. But there is an expiration date listed as August 22 to pay it. This sounds insane to me for her to be able to pay this in 4 days. She does not have the funds in Venezuela and it's virtually impossible for me to send her dollars. We have a plan but it will take longer than 4 days.

Does anyone know what this expiration date means? What if she cannot pay this fee by August 22? Why is there no way for me to pay this by giving her a US credit card number? She has to pay in Venezuelan currency and she does not have the funds available.

See attached pic. The expiration date is at the top. What does this mean? Thanks. We are applying for a K-1 Visa.

I have never heard about a time limit to pay the fees. Why don't you ask your fiancee to call ustraveldocs people and ask them about this? You cannot solve all the problems living so far away in USA.
