I am IR1/IR2 case complete at NVC, waiting for the interview date.

Is it possible that NVC has forwarded the petition to the embassy without the petitioner or beneficiary receiving any notice yet?

Im not really an xpert but heres my 2cents worth of humble opinion,NVC usually forward the papers after they give out the schedules.... heres the part of the email i got from them after we know the date of my interview schedule.... "( Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US Embassy for further processing. The NVC has completed its processing of your case and any further inquiries should be directed to the US Embassy listed below.) "... So i gues unless your an xpidited cr-1or IR approved case the nvc will be responsible of your case before you will get an appoinment letter....they usually give out the letter 1st week of the month ..hope this gives you some info sorry thats all the knowledge i got .....good luck and God bless you always

The NVC sends a letter to the petitioner/agent once the case has been forwarded to the Embassy or consulate.

You will wait for about 6 months for IR-1/IR-2 interviews after case completion.

I just attended my wife's and stepson's IR-1/IR-2 interviews in Manila.

Case complete date was 1 Sep 05. Interview date was 9 Mar 06 for both of them.

I was the designated agent for my wife and stepson, so the NVC mailed me the notice of the interviews. I received the NVC notices about four days after I saw the interviews scheduled on the list on the U.S. Embassy in Manila Internet site .
