Hi. I received my NOA1 on January 31st. Now, I need to gather bank records, but what exactly should I ask for from the bank? I have already gathered my proof of employment from my employer. My fiance and I have already gathered all of the packet 3 information and we have already completed DS-2001 signed, DS-230 (Part 1 & Part 2), 1 passaport picture, copy of passport's information page (first 4 pages). Can someone tell me what else we can do while we wait for the NOA2? Also we completed Part 2 of DS-230. Is that okey or should we have waited until her interview day? Thanks for you help.

First wait for NOA2, it can take a while, and some of the things gathered can get stale and need to be updated.

As for the record from the bank I did not bother with that, my income is over the 125% of the poverty line so all I provided were (I-134 signed and Notarized, Letter from my employer, 3 years tax transcripts (Free from the IRS), and copies of recent pay stubs going back 3 months) The bank letter is for cases where income is below the 125% level.

K visas don't used DS-230 part 2 only part 1, DS-156K has the Sworn Statement for the visa applicant. We did have DS-230 part 2 completed down to the line that clearly tells you not to complete anything below the line, and had it in with the paperwork brought to the consulate in case it was needed, same for DS-156K.

Other things you can do is read the guides:

Thank you very much for the info. Is this Yu or Dan? I tried to add our timeline but I couldn't figure it out. The critera only show options for the I-130 instead of the I-129F. Can you help? Take care my friend.

Hi. I noticed that you used 3 years of tax returns from the IRS. I have always filed my taxes online and I do not have the tax returns. Can I order something from the IRS? I know the official copies of the tax returns cost money. Did you use the copy form of the tax returns which the IRS gives you for free? Also I was wondering if I could use 3 years of my W2's instead of the tax returns? Thanks for your help.
