Questions so my husband is being told that we have to make a sworn affidavit in front of a lawyer to put in the application. I thought that's what the marriage certificate is for a affidavit is having knowledge of something when hello there's the certificate

His lawyer friend is the one telling him that but he's not a Immagration lawyer

I never heard of that you have to be careful with DR lawyers they try to cheat u out of money anyway they can

That's what I told my husband he said its his friend and he did the same thing for another mutual friend and the application was expected so I dk.

So I found out affidavit means declaration in Spanish jajajajajaja

I'm still learning Spanish as he is learning English but for the most part we use google translater which sucks but it's one of the better apps

Ok now that sounds like an affidavit of bona-fide marriage now that I've heard of but I myself don't intend to get it from hearing from other people hear in VJ they don't really pay any attention to that but that's just what I read good luck with your journey
