Manila Medical Exam..... please enlighten me

My wife had her medical today at St. Luke's, and was asked to come back tomorrow for the results.

She was not vaccinated, though. She was told that she must wait for her menstruation first before she can get immunized, to make sure that she is not pregnant. Her pregnancy test was negative, by the way. She is due to have her period anytime next week.... the problem is, our interview is sometime next week.

I'm not so sure what the deal is here. But she was assured that the results of her medical exam will be released tomorrow. I'm just wondering, if they will release the results tomorrow, it would and it should say there that she's not immunized yet - and that could cause a problem, right?

I will clarify this tomorrow with the people there..... but is there anyone here who had the same experience?

Thanks.....

My fiance had hers done after the interview, they only need the results of the medical at the interview, not the vaccination record. The medical officer just told her to stop back after a successful interview for the shots.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I'm not sure why you did not get a medical schedule because it should also appear on your appointment interview letter.

You do not need to schedule at St. Luke's, however, they would look for the appointment letter. My wife's schedule for medical exam was supposed to be on 26th of March, but she was allowed to take it today.

As long as you have the appointment letter, you can have your medical exam done anytime.

Also, contact the Manila US embassy to know when your medical exam is scheduled. You can also check the US embassy website..... just enter your CASE NUMBER there and you will find out when your scheduled med exam will be, along with the visa interview.

Hope this helps.

There's no medical schedule on packet 4. I checked the visa interview appointment online,

Case Number: #############

Visa Classification: CR1

St. Luke's Appointment Date: Thursday, April 12, 2007 (12:00:00 AM)

Embassy Appointment Date: Thursday, April 12, 2007 (8:30:00 AM)

She will take early medical. What does she need to bring on medical. 2 x 2 photo, appointment letter, passport. does she need anything else? the reason y i'm asking is my friend will go home March 30. she will bring the rest of the papers/forms. I can send the packet 4 thru fedex earlier for the medical.

it is advised that the medical exam (at st. luke's) be taken at least a week before the interview. your wife can have it as early as today, just make sure she doesnt have her monthly period when she goes. She needs to bring three 2x2 photos (one will be given at the reception when u submit the info or data sheet and the other 2 will be submitted later when u get the result of the ME), the appointment letter (pages 1 & 2) and photocopies of it, and her passport.

two of the ladies who were waiting for immunization when i was having my medical exam had just come back from their interview :-) a few others said they were done with interview a few days before that day. maybe they all had to wait for their periods?

dp your medical first, bring your complete case papers, be prepared to submit certain docs to st lukes, they prepare a package and send it to embassy. they took different papers from my wife that were not expected. bring your vaccination records and get them done first, why put the cart befor the horse. BE PREPARED PEOPLE. do your stuff first or risk A/R
