I would like to know what I would have to write for not having my tax return paperwork because I wasn't employed at the time?

Do you mean for the last year? You still have to file taxes, even if you are unemployed. Did you receive unemployment?

The last two years and no because I am living in Japan and was not aware I was supposed file taxes .

My mistake, I read your post wrong. I thought you meant you were unemployed (assumed you meant receiving unemployment benefits). You do not need to file if you did not have any taxable income.
