How to find a double check

I'm sure this topic has been covered before, but my fiance and I are almost ready to send in our packet for a K1 visa. Since we started this process, I've been trying to find a way to just talk to someone about what I have so far, and get some feedback as to whether or not I'm missing anything vital. Immigration lawyers I have spoken with do not offer free consultations, and will not answer any questions without payment - and money is a bit tight at this time of year so I'm trying to keep the cost of this process reasonable.

Maybe someone out there has been through this before, and knows of some way I can feel assured that I've included everything. If so, I'd really appreciate feedback!
