My spouse had her interview on June 2nd. She had it in Colombo Sri Lanka. They took her passport and medical records but did not say if she was approved. Two days later a lady called her and asked her pretty much the same questions she had at the interview. Both interviews was approximately 10 mins. We started checking out visa status. For about a week it was in administration process. Then it switched to "ready". Under the ready it says to schedule interview appointment and if you already did then prepare. She already had her interview and when she calls the embassy there they tell her they will contact if they have further questions. When I call the Portsmouth center they tell me the same thing or she needs to call the Colombo embassy. I already know this is a huge waiting game and jumping through hoops. Is the "ready" normal after interview. What can we expect moving forward. Any ideals would be extremely helpful. Thank you

ready should mean the visa is ready

it changes to issued after spouse picks it up

but the information site goes back and forth a lot and the all things are slow to post

email the embassy and tell them they have the passport as that usually means approved

ask when you will get the visa

don't be afraid to ask
