I know this question must of been asked thousands of times but I can't find the answer. How do I go about getting a new passport with my married name. So I need to wait till after AOS and do u do the normal UK procedure of filling form in online, printing off and sending off in post. And how does that work with the visa inside?

The process is about the same but you pay an additional fee if abroad to cover courier transport of your documents back to you from the UK. https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports

This is not a good time to mail off your passport because you need it for ID during your AOS process (biometrics, interview) and other things like Social Security, driver license, bank.... You might want to wait until you have your greencard and some American ID before you send it off. The visa inside is no longer valid, so doesn't matter so much other than a photocopy of it goes with your AOS application. You can still travel with a maiden name passport, even when your other documents like greencard are in your married name. You make the reservation in the passport name and take a copy of your marriage certificate in case a name change proof would be asked for.
