Sent to PO box with express mail instead of downtown location. Help?

Hi,

I sent my I-130 and I-485 together to USCIS, P.O. Box 805887,Chicago, IL 60680-4120.

However, at the USPS I decided to do overnight/express. I just realized I should have sent it to USCIS, FBAS, 131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor, Chicago, IL 60603-5517 in that case.

What can I do? Will it ever be picked up? (the tracking shows it's available for pick up but hasn't been picked up)

Welcome to the forum.

Relax, it will be picked up. You have tracking documentation, and will likely soon get delivery confirmation. We sent all of our USCIS packages USPS Priority Mail with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation, and have had NO issues.

Hopefully, you won't get any RFEs. While you are waiting, It helps everyone that uses the forum.

BTW: Doing this has been known to drive people crazy.

Thanks for answering. You're right, I'm probably worried over nothing. It arrived at the LockBox in Chicago on Friday 27, in the morning, and still hasn't been picked up which is why I was worrying.

I'll just wait more
