Hi All

On the 31st of May the status of my Case changed from "Ready" to "Issued", however I also received an email requesting further Documentation.

Back in Feb I was approved for my Visa, however I needed to make a trip to the states without activating my K1 Visa, so as advised on here, I requested for the Embassy to hold off adding my visa to my passport until i returned.

I returned on the 19th of May and as instructed directly from the Embassy, I sent my Passport to the embassy via DX for the Embassy to put the Visa in my passport. I fly back to the States on the 23rd of June.

That was on the 22nd of May. On the 31st of May my Status changed to "Issued" but then at 02:30 in the morning this morning i received an email requesting further documentation (Not specifically what Documentation, just that all Docs from the list were sent)

The list included an American Passport Photo (which they took from me at my interview) and this is the only thing that i can think of, however this wasn't requested when I was at the interview. I tried calling the Embassy but as usual they will not take any calls re Visas.

If anyone could help put my mind at ease i would be grateful.

I have no idea what you are explaining.. You got an email saying all docs were sent? Maybe type it out exactly??

The simple answer is reply to the email and say--I do not understand what you are asking of me in this eMail.. Please explain.

I wish it was that simple.

The email is a no reply address and requests for me to send further documentation - The further documentation is my Passport and an American Passport Photo, however they have my passport and all the American Passport Photos i took with me at the interview.

However my CEAC Status says the visa has been issued.

Maybe the email is a mistake. There is a contact form where you can ask questions via email because you can't phone them.
