CRBA Appointment at USEM?

Questions:

1) Does anybody know how long it takes to get an appointment for processing a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) at the US Embassy in Manila through their mail-in only appointment system?

2) After the appointment, about how long does it take to receive the child's US passport? This is assuming that a DNA test will be required (add 1-2 weeks?)

-took us 28 working days to get an appointment.

2) After the appointment, about how long does it take to receive the child's US passport? This is assuming that a DNA test will be required (add 1-2 weeks?)

- we got my baby's passport 24 days after our interview. Not sure how long with DNA test tho...

We had our CRBA interview April 21 2016. Had all evidence and despite that the Consular officer said we had to do "voluntary DNA tests" Nothing voluntary about it . The Tests are 850 USD plus 1500 PHP at Saint Lukes. only 90 days to complete.

DNA results arrived at Embassy June 14th. Still waiting !!! The embassy said that the consular officer is reviewing the case ??? what BS.

It added an extra 1-2 months of waiting with the DNA test for us.
