hello,

i have a question regarding the photo requirements - i just saw my new pic and it has kind of a shadow(my head throws a ltl shadow)in the background and a slight shadow on the left side of my face. It isn't dark or black but it says no shadows and mine has some...how stern are they with that requirement what do u guys think?

I could'nt say, but I would not stress about it. If it is any consolation, on my picture the colour was kinda off and it looked like I had a bad sunburn. If they are not satisfied, I say feed 'em fish heads and RFE me.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Hard to say without ofcourse seeing it but it should be ok, depends on quite how bad it is.

Just for the record, my pictures I've sent in have always been AWFUL :lol:

K-1 visa issued: 12/15/2006

107 days from mailing AOS package to receiving green card! Received 6/27/07 dated 6/20/07

Removing conditions:

mailed 5/22/2009

Recieved at CSC 5/23/2009

Check cashed 5/27/09

NOA date 5/26/09 - still not received

I-551 stamp in passport 6/19/09

Biometrics notice date 6/16/09

Biometrics received 6/20/09

Biometrics apt date 7/9/09

Biometrics cancellation notice 6/27/09

Biometrics apt notice date 6/26 recieved 7/7

Biometrics apt 7/22/09

Touch 7/22/09

Finally able to see online info 7/22/09

Oh I understand, I just sent off my AOS package yesterday and an hour later got a stab of panic as I remembered I forgot to write something in! Doh! but its ok...at least I'll be prepared for it!

Also the pics I just sent in for that were so terrible..I look like a druggie! :lol:

The consulate would probably not accept this photo for the visa, but the USCIS likely will accept it for the petition submission. (For the critical things, like making the ID cards, the USCIS has you go to an ASC where they will take the necessary photo themself.)
