After an RFE, our case was finally approved! NOA2 August 15! Okay so now, give our case 10 or so days to get to the NVC and then start calling to see if it has arrived and to get the case number so we can schedule his interview? Correct?

In the meantime, I should be preparing the Affidavit of Support and what else?

Get his vaccinations from a GP if needed

Schedule the medical at Knightsbridge

Affidavit of Support (I-134) & Supporting Documentation

- Tax Return from 2015

- Maybe: W2/1099 & Letter from Employer

Police Certificate

Special Access Report (if needed)

Passport

Love!

I think you could keep calling everyday to inquire about your case? Or ring the USCIS to see what happened? I know this could be very frustrating, but for now, you could tell your fiance to start gathering her documents (for the interview) as everything will move so fast once you receive your case number!

Keep faith! :)

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR FIANCEE!!! :)

I'm interviewing tomorrow with no NVC letter and your post has relieved me from my worries!!!

Feeling relieved since the email likely went to my junk file and may have been deleted. No letter received at all.

Fiancé was just approved at the US Embassy in Manila!!!:dance::dance::dance:

For those of you stressing about having not received any correspondence from the NVC, no need to fret. :dancing: My fiancé went in with no letter or email from NVC, and when they asked for it she simply provided the screenshot of "ready" status and explained that we have received nothing from the NVC. They only use this to verify MNL#. They quickly stamped and returned it and she proceeded with the process. Hope this helps a few of you.

Good luck to all with upcoming interviews!

Wow congrats!!! :) so happy for you! :) My fiance will be going back to St. Luke's for her immunization and medical records later, really hoping and praying everything goes well. :) :) :)

Keep the faith guys! We will all be closing the distance with our fiances soon! :)

Yes, correct, as soon NVC assigns you a case number, you can call Knightsbridge. To be clear, that'll happen before the case actually gets to the embassy, though!

The Special Access Report is only needed if his Police Certificate came back as 'No Live Trace' or 'Live Trace' -- as long as you've gotten his police certificate back and it says 'No Trace' then you're in the clear.

If it says ANYTHING except 'No Trace' then you need to also request the SAR from the police -- it's just a detailed accounting of any law enforcement encounters he's had.

Some people have said three years of tax forms was required, but I think that's for the Adjustment of Status once you're in the US, not for the K1 interview. At the interview, it's just a cursory 'do you qualify,' not a deep dive into your finances, unless you're for some reason borderline. But take a look at the UK portal -- Nich-Nick there is a huge help.
