Visa K1 Parejas Mismo Sexo

Buenas tardes a todos,

Soy nuevo en el foro.

Inicie el proceso para la Visa K1 con mi pareja en el 8 de Febrero el envio los documentos y el 14 Recibió

carta de confirmación, el vive en miami y se suponía que lo enviamos al Texas Service Center pues teníamos

entendido su estado le correspondía el de Texas pero en la confirmación dice que el caso lo verán en el

California Service Center, mi duda es si esto es normal. o si cambia por ser pareja del mismo sexo.

Recibimos la confirmación el 14 y se supone es aproximado de 5 meses para que se apruebe, esto es correcto

o tenemos que hacer algo mas por el momento?

Alguna pareja que este en el mismo caso que el mio?

Hola, bienvenido!

El envio lo hicieron al "lockbox" que esta en Texas donde se reciben todas las peticiones. De ahi las mandan al service center que corresponde, pero por el momento desde hace rato todas las peticiones se estan procesando por el California Service Center - no importa si son parejas de mismo sexo o no.

Recibieron la primer notification, NOA1, el 14 de febrero? Ahora solo esperen a recibir la segunda notificacion, NOA2, que sera la aprobacion del caso. Cuando los aprueben, NVC, tardan maso 2 semanas en asignar numero de caso que coresponde al consulado de Juarez y les mandan el caso al consulado. El consulado de Juarez luego manda notificacion cuando esta listo el caso para que pongan cita para entrevista.

Por el momento no hay nada que hacer hasta que reciban la noticia que los aprobaron. Llena tu "timeline" para que puedas ver maso unos estimados de fechas para esperar la notificacion.

Hola MariaR323!, muchas gracias por aclararme estas dudas, ahora estoy un poco mas tranquilo,

estaré actualizando como me recomiendas para tener mas claro todo en cuanto a fechas y tiempos

que llevamos.

Si, asi tienes algun tipo de idea y podras ver el timeline de otras parejas que van procesando maso a tus tiempos tambien.

Asegurate que cambies tu perfil, ponle el California Service Center no el de Texas. Y mencionaste que tu pareja vive en Miami... tu perfil enseña Maryland.

Hola Maria!! Como estas, muchas gracias por la ayuda

Estoy muy emocionado y en verdad sorprendido el 31 de Marzo

nos llego la NOA2 no fueron ni dos meses y nosotros

esperábamos mínimo 5 meses.

Alguien me puede decir que sigue exactamente después de esto,

tengo una idea pero entre mas sepa mejor.

Hola! Estoy muy alegre por que nos acaban de aprobar ayer a nosotras tambien! Parece que vamos a los mismos tiempos tu y yo entonces :)

Por el momento, hay que esperar maso unas 2 semanas para que nos asignen numero de caso para Juarez. Bueno, otros estan tardando asi como 15 dias por ay, por eso digo unas 2 semanas. Ya que pase una semana yo digo que podamos empezar a llamar al NVC para preguntar por nuestro numero de caso.

Por lo tanto, empiezen a juntar todo lo que piden que lleve uno a la entrevista. Mira, te paso el link del consulado de Juarez para que veas la info que ponen:

Y aparte, este documento era o es el que mandan - ojala siga siendo el mismo como vi que actualizaron la pagina, talvez este documento tambien lo actualizan, pero aqui esta:
