Hi guys. I'm also on EB2 filer. Any idea on what questions are being asked during the consular interview?

Do you know that EB2 PD has retrogressed in our country to February 2014?

yes. sadly, it has retrogressed.

So does this mean that we will not be able to get an interview date until our PD becomes current?

Yes I know. It retregressed. not just Philippines but also ROW, guatemala and mexico. these countries are all current and then suddenly all of them retrogressed to feb2014. do you wonder why?

and yes, li called NVC and they told me that even if my case was complete this july which the PD is still current. I will not be scheduled for interview unless it becomes current again.

Cheer up guys. EB2 will be current again on October as mentioned in the visa bulletin.

Am I still affected by this? I am already scheduled for interview on August at the US Embassy. Mine is also EB-2. When I checked my visa status it indicates: Ready. Im also done with my medical exam at SLEC. So Am I still affected by the retrogression? since my visa is still not ISSUED officially? Pls answer me. So should I still come to my embassy interview? or cancel it already?

Read the contents under item F. OVERSUBSCRIPTION OF THE WORLDWIDE, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HONDURAS, MEXICO, AND PHILIPPINES EMPLOYMENT-BASED SECOND (E2) PREFERENCE CATEGORIES. It says "The date for these countries will once again become CURRENT for October, the first month of fiscal year 2017".

So yeah, just a small bump in our journey.

I got CC on June 23 but unfortunately no ID yet. The embassy peeps here (Thailand) are too slow in making interview appointments. We already sent an email to them and NVC requesting to expedite my interview but they haven't replied yet. Seems that I have for October but my fingers are crossed.

How about you sir? When did you get CC?

i am not cc's yet. but my guess is i will be cc this month or early next month. and my ID is on october same for everyone. however I have some confusion.. in travel.state.gov it says eb2 philippines is retro and in uscis visa bulletin it says eb2 philippines is current https://www.uscis.gov/visabulletin-aug-16

That's weird. I think that's the July VB and they mistakenly used it instead of the Aug VB. These guys are prone to error based on my experience. Let's just wait for any changes. But seriously I hope the one with current EB2 is the real one
