k1 nvc case status - administrative processing

k1 case created on 18-Nov-2015.

however, whenever checking the nvc case status webpage over the last few months. it has always showed administrative processing. the status updated date would update regularly, sometimes daily, but it would always be administrative processing.

the interview was on mar 1. result was approved. however, got 221g a few days ago with a new interview date for next week. only thing they mentioned in the 221g was fingerprinting.

so my question is. is this nvc case status always showing administrative processing something to be concerned with since it has been about 4 months since the case was created?

it should be showing "READY" if the visa were to actually be issued right? i'm just concerned that after this 221g and new interview appointment there could be further delays...

thanks

wait until you are done with the next interview for fingerprints. AP means that it's not quite done yet, which is explained by your pending interview for next week.

Once it is done and issued it clearly state so
