Name Misspelled on Visa -- Should I Worry? [split topic]

Hi. So i applied for a J1 visa last Jan 15 and i have an approved visa. Unfortunately when the passport was sent back to me, they misspelled my first name. I followed the instructions provided by the embassy (i sent a letter of appeal with the passport and visa) last Feb 3 and i've no response until now. I checked my CEAC and the status went from ISSUED to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING. Should i be worried? I am planning to leave on the 3rd week of march. How long does it usually take to have your visa corrected? Thank you and please reply. I am getting paranoid.

AP is normal, it should go back to issued soon. Longest I have read of is 2 weeks to get the passport back with the corrected visa. Please keep us posted. Thanks
