Hi Guys,

I am wondering if someone else can help me pick up my passport if I am unable to pick it. I was supposed to pick it myself but I am not at the city where I need to collect it but a family has agreed to collect it.

What can I give to him to help me collect it?

Pick it up when you are back in the city. To pick up you have to show ID. I know those in Nigeria who had interview went back home and picked up more than a month later when they were ready to leave. The passport isn't going anywhere.

But call the Visa center and ask them if you can have a family member pick up and what do they need to pick up. Unwise to have others pick up. Rememeber it's also your Visa package that CAN NOT be opened.
