When I had my medical in Oct. '06 I didnt get any vaccination specifically the MMR..because my husband then fiancee had just left from his last visit and the Doctor said it is not safe for me to have one because there's a probability that Im pregnant even the pregancy test was negative, so they put "Applicant will have vaccination in the states" on my Vaccination Supplement.

Now, were on the AOS process and I believe I am required to have that vaccine for the AOS, so I am definitely expecting an RFE here...but the thing is I am pregnant now and from what I know I cant have an MMR shot or any other vacccines aside from the usual vaccines we get when were pregnant..like tetanus vaccine etc....I wanna know how do we go about this and if someone went through the same situation, any insights will be appreciated.

regards,

Jenn

Hello! I think before you will file your AOS, consult first for your local civil surgeon about your medical and for the vaccination. As right now, I have an RFE about medical and my vaccination. Though, my medical exam was not over 1 year yet but I had a lacking vaccination in my K-1 way back in the Philippines, and I got it from a local health clinic only before filing for AOS, and I have not done it with the civil surgeon, so I got an RFE. USCIS is very strict for the vaccination supplement. So I need to undergo again a medical exam and to let redo my vaccination supplement by the civil surgeon.

I already contacted one of the USCIS accredited surgeon here in our area and she told me that I cant have any vaccinations since I am pregnant, but I would still have to have the Dr. fill out the I-693 supplement form and she will just send an explanation along with it indicating why I cant have the vaccines and she's charging us $75 just to fill out the form alone. She also mentioned that they might need to do another pregnancy for me to make sure I am really pregnant?!?!?my belly's popping out now, and I do have ultrasound copies why would I need another preg test??anyway..whatever..just wanna get this done asap.
