Hello! Quick intro, I'm American citizen, hubby is British and we got married in Dubai 3 years ago this April, where we will be living until we move to the US.

Just starting our application, we are aiming to be back in Phoenix this December.

I found a line-by-line instruction on the web, but it's not very helpful!

I managed to find info about our addresses, we have put both our permanent home addresses (US and UK respectively) but line 21. asks us our last address we lived together. Now, in Dubai, there are no home mailing addresses. I already found an old post about it but still not sure. I have a mailing PO box through my company, is that what I need to put? Will they be using this address to mail me? If not, can I just write a description like, building name, apartment, street, city, etc?

Secondly, I was actually born in the Philippines on a US airbase and to a US citizen. I assume I just tick "Born in US" as I don't have the applicable numbers for the other two options (Naturalization and Parents). I just want to be sure this won't be a problem, since my place of birth is Quezon City, Philippines.

Thanks so much for your help!

If you want the interview in Dubai, then Dubai should be the alien's address. If not, he will have to get the medical and have the interview in London. Your mail from USCIS will go to the States.

Do some reading in the MENA (Middle East, North Africa) regional forum to see what other members have experienced in Dubai.

Look at your passport for place of birth. That answers the question about US soil (bases aren't considered US soil). http://military.findlaw.com/family-employment-housing/military-children-born-abroad.html
