Hi everyone!

Good day,

I'm so glad someone shared this forum to me because right now I'm kinda confused about the next thing I need to do..last Feb 19, my foreign fiance got an email notifying that the pocket we submitted last December 28,which they received it January 6 got approved!and the email stays they will be sending the approval notice,my question is, is that approval notice that they are going to mail is the NOA2?

I'll appreciate your answer.

You should get a NOA1 when they receive your packet 129f. Then when you are approved you will receive your NOA2. 10 business days after getting your text message that your 129f was approved then begin calling NVC to get your MNL# (better known as your case number). Once you have that then you can complete your DS160, pay your interview fee and schedule your interview. More steps are available at my website. Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

They will send a hardcopy by mail of the NOA1 and NOA2. If you filled out the G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance you will get a text message. MAYBE. They are spotty on this process.

Yes I-797 is the NOA1.
