Hi All,

On Saturday is the big day! I have my naturalization interview so I wanted to make sure I'm prepared well. In the interview letter that I received it says that I must bring:

  • The letter
  • Green Card
  • Passport
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Spouses Birth Certificate

Are there any additional things that I should bring besides the ones listed in the letter? Also what is the dress code for the interview? Are jeans acceptable?

Thank you all for your help!

You applied on 3 years rule? If yes you need to bring all evidences of your commingling marriage (tax, bills, insurances... Pretty much i751 stuffs) to save you from hassles of RFE if IO wants to see them.

Khaki with shirt is fine, neat clothes would give good impression. Good luck.

Hey Everybody!

So I had my interview today and everything went smooth! My appointment was at 9:45am and I arrived at the USCIS office 15 minutes earlier. At 10:00am my name was called out, a lady came out and escorted me to her office. They didn't ask me for any additional documents, they just asked if anything was changed. The whole interview lasted for about 15 minutes and I was approved after that and I was out by 10:25am! I wore nice jeans, shirt and a jacket and it was totally acceptable.

Again thank you all for your help and good luck in your journey!
