I'm hoping some has has same situation and advise me. I need to file application and have not started.

1) Has anyone every filed a 2nd petition for a 2nd wife from overseas after divorce from the first, and were there any complications? can you advise.see background below.

I married someone from overseas in 2006 and used the Cr-1 visa process. She now has her citizenship and we divorced last year.

I now want to file a petition for a Japanese lady, whom I met through work. I am going to use the K-1 process as I think that maybe the quickest way.

2) I noticed the language on the support affidavit of support requires to list previous submissions. Is it required? that was 10 years ago. My ex does not receive support from me , so why must I list it?

3) Why could we not go ahead and get married and file Cr-1? can she not stay in usa 90 days at a time on the VMP? . She can return and stay with family and back and forth until she needs to return and interview at the embassy in Japan?

Would this be frowned upon? I don't see why it would.

Thank you.

I can only address question 2 with any certainty. According to my immigration lawyer, you have to provide the names of any past beneficiaries. You don't have to provide the Alien Registration Number if you can't or don't want to get it from your ex. USCIS can look that up for themselves if they care enough. Immigration authorities ask for this to catch people who are paid to marry aliens for visas. They will find out even if you don't list it and that could look like you have something to hide. What could you say in response to that accusation? You forgot you sponsored your ex??

One prior beneficiary ten years ago doesn't look like someone selling green cards.
