Good morning amazing members!

First of all thank you for always helping! I would not be able to live peacefully without this forum.

I have a question...

My husband's ID expired because of course his K1 Visa expired. We are already married and we already filed for AOS, EAD. I just have the first notice that says they received the papers.

I think for the Biometrics he needs to show some type of ID, but his Florida Drivers License is expired.

Is he allowed to go to our MDV and request a new ID? or do we have to wait until he receives his AOS :/

Also what would he have to take to the MDV to prove the paperwork is in progress..

Thank you all !

His passport can be used for his ID at his biometrics.

If he already has a FL license... even expired this might work: I went to renew mine once my EAD came through, and the guy at the counter said that if you take them the notice that you have filed for AOS, they usually 'try to work with you' and extend your license for another year! Thats what the guy in Pinellas County said in FL....might work for you in Miami! Good luck
