Updating Affidavit of Support for Interview?

Hello everyone! I have a question. Because I don't have work authorization at the moment, I am unable to work and include income to my husbands affidavit of support. When we apply, we will be using his income, as well as a few assets. It is my understanding that the EAD card comes within 2-3 months after the application is filed. I am hoping to get a job as soon as the EAD card comes in. If I find a job at least a month before our interview, are we able to create a new affidavit of support with my earnings included and bring it with us to the interview? I understand that I'd have to bring in pay stubs, as well as a letter from the employer explaining that the income will continue after I get my provisional green card.

If you are just using your spouse and your assets and no co-sponsor, I would not bother to amend the affidavit of support which has to include your spouse anyway. Even if you get a job that satisfies the 125% on your own, your spouse is not relived of the terms. I would just leave it as is. Good luck! :)

Thank you for your reply! The reason why I was thinking of updating it before the interview is because my spouses income is below the poverty line, so we used assets to make up for it. I figured, if I (the intending immigrant) am making money and have a letter from my employer indicating that they intend on keeping me, it is wise to include it, since I feel income has more of a weight than assets?

The only reason I can't include any income from myself at the time of initial application is because I don't have an EAD card or a job :/

I'm just trying to figure out what's smarter haha
