My husband sent me a message yesterday telling me that an acquaintance who got a CC around the same time we did just had their interview scheduled. They were not notified by mail or phone; his wife (the USC) had just called the NVC in hopes of hearing something about their case and she was told that an interview had been scheduled for March! My husband, giddy as ever sent me a message and asked me to please call the NVC and ask them the same thing. I was very doubtful and told him not to get his hopes up since the NVC typically contacts both Petitioner/Beneficiary once the interview has been scheduled. Immediately after work I called the NVC and I asked if it was possible that we had an interview date and she said YES!!! Our interview is going to be 5 days after our friends'. Both of us have case completes the first week of October. If yours is anywhere near this date, I would encourage you to call the NVC; you just never know!
