Hi Everyone

I am hoping someone out there can answer my question.

Was checking the processing times for I-130 Alien Relative, my sister in florida has applied for me, I am a UK citizen and it seems that the date for ths visa hasnt changed for the last 18 months.

Does anyone know how I can contact them via email to find out why this date has never changed. Because if that's the case then I will never get my visa.

Thanks

Karen

Greetings!

Did you say your sister is from Florida? if she is , then she appiled I-130 for you through TExas Service Center wherein at this time they are still processing April 30, 2001.

And even if it is approved it would still be based upon the visa availabilty of the country.

p.s. are a beneficiary of a K1 visa?

Karen even when the I-130 is approved you have to wait for your priority date for a visa to become available.... as a sibling of a USC you are in the 4th prefrence and they are curently issuing visa's to people with a priority date 22 March 1996... so you are looking at about an 11 year wait...

Your profile information shows you filing for a K-1 visa. I think you'll find that to be a faster route than sibling of a USC. 11-15 years is not uncommon for that category.
