So we just about have all our documents ready to be sent out.

Just a couple of couple of questions -

1. On the G-325A, you have to provide your employment details for the last 5 years. My husband works as a grip in the film and tv industry so he has had numerous jobs over the past 5 years. How does this work? Shall he have an annexure to the form and then he will have to list every position he has had?

2. I understand we can visit each other while the documents are being processed. Has anyone stayed under the Visa Waiver Program for 90 days? Is it possible to stay for 90 days and then return to Australia and then go back to the USA for another 90 days? If so, how long do I have to stay in my own country to get another Visa?

Many thanks!

1. Always answer every question in full. So if he has had 10 jobs, list all 10 jobs.

2. Yes you can visit. Staying the full 90 days under the VWP and then coming straight back for another 90 is never a good idea. You could even be denied the second time round as the VWP is for touristic purposes, not to live in the USA on 90-day installments. The rule of thumb is to stay out of the country longer than you were there. So if you spend 90 days, don't return for at least 91 days. You will raise a red flag since you have demonstrated immigration intent by starting a CR-1. The CBP officer can be forgiven for thinking you won't go home.

I don't know what you mean in your final sentence about "getting another visa". The VWP is exactly the opposite of a visa and if you are eligible for the VWP you don't need a visa to visit.

The VWP is a precious gift. Don't abuse it.
