i-864 question, purple text?

I'm using adobe acrobat reader to fill out this form and under part 2 it asks information about the principal immigrant

Number 7 asks for daytime phone number and when I type in the number it comes up as purple, I tried to use a comp at work and at home but the same thing is happening, is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? I know usually forms should be in black ink so I'm wondering if I should just hand write it, let me know if anyone else experienced this

That happened to me too. Most Printers will have a setting to print in black and white so i was just able to set my printer up to B&W and it was fine

if you print black and white wont it come out black anyways? but sometimes you have to add things in by hand so by all means you can do it by hand just use a black pen

got it, i wasn't sure if you could hand write some and type others, but I guess it doesn't matter like you all said because when I print it black and white it will be fine

yes one thing most do by hand is the Xed boxes. sometimes when you print the boxes that you have to Xed magically goes away. for example the "I am a citizen" box and the "military box" so everyone has to use black pen and X them again. so double check those once you print.
