Hi everyone,

on November 2, 2015 I filed an inquiry for my AOS.

As a response I received:

USCIS will review and process the request

Expect a reply by November 24, 2015

So far, so good. Unfortunately, I have checked USCIS everyday and noticed that the case has NOT been assigned until 2 days ago. I say 2 days, because since that my account has been LOCKED. And whenever I want to log in, I receive the following message:

Account Locked

Your account has been locked for one of the following reasons:

  • Account inactivity.
  • Too many unsuccessful login attempts.

Don't tell me any "smart" comments that I have to reset my password, as I have done this at least 15 times now. And every single time I get this beautiful message that my account is blocked.

Does anyone have similar problems? And if so, maybe a solution?

Thank you!

I wish I had a useful solution for you , but all I can tell you is that when I tried to access my account about a month ago, so that I could copy/paste the text of one of the updates into a post here on VJ, I got exactly the same message as you're getting. I shrugged and assumed that they had locked my account because my GC had been issued and thus my account was considered inactive - but when I tried again this week, I was able to log in with no problems. I hadn't reset passwords or done anything at all to try to fix it and my GC is every bit as issued as it was a month ago.

Are you able to check your case status without logging in, just by entering your receipt number on that page? I know it's much more of a nuisance to do it that way, but at least you'll be able to keep an eye on your case status until someone can suggest a better solution?

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".

Yes that works, but it will only show me the old status from April and won't show my case inquiry.

I tried to reset today again. Now I receive a different message:

AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. PLEASE CONTACT TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
