Hi,

I have question regard to I-864. I filled the petition for my parents (I-130), it was approved and it is at NVC stage. I am married and do not have any income.

How should I proceed with I-864 filling?

What form my husband should file (I-864 or I-864A)?

I am little confuse with the instructions I have read so far. Please, help!

You will complete an I-864 and your husband will complete an i-864A.

If your husband's income is not enough to sponsor, then you will need a joint sponsor and they will complete an I-864.

You will complete an I-864 and your husband will complete an i-864A.

I am still little confuse...When I fill out i 864 Q19) regard to income.....I didnt have any income. My husband filed the joint tax return. Do I report his income?

It asks for the "total income" number from your tax returns. If you guys filed jointly, then that is your tax return.
