A little backstory that will help with my question:

2 years ago I moved back home with my father to start a business and left a job with decent pay. This was the same time my fiance (girlfriend at the time) went back to Brazil to finish school. My father made enough to support us both while we worked on starting a business and initially kept his day job. All of the money we have made over the past several years has gone into his accounts as he has managed the finances and I have no made enough in my name to file taxes since I left my job. I have recent moved out into a second house in his name that my fiancee and I will live in.

My two questions are:

1) For my biographic information on the g-325a, do I put Self-Employed for the employer and just put what I do for my business as job title? I wasn't sure if I my answer here would affect the second question.

2) My father is willing to sponsor my fiancee's application when the consulate asks for it. He quit his day job this year but has more than 5 times the poverty level in cash and stock in his accounts and still pulls in rent each month from several rentals he owns. Will my not having income to show right now (even though I am working and earning money through freelance web design and our business - just not enough to file taxes in my own name) be a problem when they ask for proof of financial independence?

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate this forum and couldn't do all of this by myself without your help.

Use your dad as co-sponsor, and state you work in the family biz...if you claim

self employed do you have tax papers and financial statements proof?

I don't for the past year and a half since I didn't make over $10,000 in my name. I can show bank accounts with money coming in and out though - just not more than $10k in the past year and a half in income.
